90 integra cruise control fuze?

Hey all! I just bought a 1990 integra LS with 262K and a rebuilt engine. well cared for car, even the AC blows cold! AND was converted! I love this car.

The cc doesn't seem to work. Where is that fuze located ?I should also state that the green light on the button does come on.

The fuse box should be by the battery in the engine bay and underneath your steering wheel

if the green light comes on you may have a different problem than a fuse

Well, we can't find a fuse for the cc...is there one?

What color should the light on the cc button be when turned on?

green it means your getting power to the switch. there are multiple components in the cruise control system. you will neeed to find hich one isnt working since you have power

Hey guys, new here, thought I would share the fix for this issue.

On your clutch pedal, there is a hole up about halfway between the pedal and the hinge itself. In this hole, once upon a time, there was a little rubber nub that would press into the CC switch. When you are looking under the dash, you can see the switch box, and you can feel the hole in the pedal, and the button that the nub would have pressed on had it still been there. The nub is no longer there because it was plastic, and we all know the result of dried out plastic on these cars.

Go find a 1/4-3/8 short bolt to fit into the hole. This bolt will be your new "nub" to press into the CC switch. To make it fit and stay, snug, wrap it with some teflon tape for a press fit, or simply bolt it down from the other side with a nut.

Probably. There are two switches, one for the clutch (in a manual, obviously) and one on the brake pedal. The way the switch works is, if the switch is engaged (button pushed in) then the CC will engage if the steering wheel button is pressed. The only way the switch will engage is if you are off the brake, and off the clutch (because this is when the button(s) are pushed in!).

Give it a shot. For starters, just feel up towards the top of the pedal shaft, and see if you can feel the nub, or if you just feel an empty hole. Adjacent to that hole you should feel the switch. See if it's there!

Hey Jimmy,

We just checked. There seems to be no other switch than the brake switch...also, the brake does go "click" when I press/unpress the brake pedal. Seller said it was the spedo....

how fast are you going when you try and set it. stupid question i know but i have cars where you couldnt set your cruise in speends lower than 30 mph. that is probably irrelavent but i dont know. if you had a bad brake switch either your lights would come on at all times or not come on at all. my guess is you probably need a cruise control unit or a cruise control actuator
