its probably your fuel pressure regulator. the diag steps for a 43 code go as directed. 1 remove hazard fuse from main fuse block for ten seconds reset the ecu. 2 start car and allow to get to operating tempature, fans kick on.3 hold rpms at 3000 rpms for 2minutes. 4 if light returns test fuel pressure regulator.5 if regulator is working properly unplug the o2 sensor and test voltage between sensor and body ground.6 is the voltage above .6 at wide open throttle to 4500 rpm and does it drop to .4v when quickly released. if not new o2 sensor needed
ight, ill try it as soon as i get home, but something tells me it will be the o2 sensor -__-, lol i had a new one but my friend talked me out of thinking that was the probelm so i returned it
i wasnt thinking o2 either but thats what the diag trees are for. it cam from alldata which is used in multiple shops and dealerships everywhere. ive been in the industry for a long time and have acsess to some good info like that
now that i think about it is the regulator that thing that looks like a bottle cap but the center is poking up or something, if so mines looks fairly new, shiny and all lol
no cel light yet. than it is considered an intermitten fault code. you should have gotten something back not even the egr code. well seems like its been fixed jk
i was driving this morning to work and i got a CEL, before i went in i pulled the code, it was a 12, nothing more lol i guess 43 and 6 were only when i overheated the car, so imma go into getting a replacement egr valve, thanks for the help man
