i currently have 55w 8000k ballast and bulbs, though i know i will probably need new bulbs after the retro or is there a ballast that im mixing up with the hid ballast?

and i am a little confused still about the harness

why is the labor harder in an integra then other cars?

i really enjoy the looks of the carbonfiber lips. they look great im afraid to lower it and put a lip on it. i live in a small town not the best of roads. its hard enough to get around with out it lowered or having a lip.

thats why i picked up a lip for 15 bucks

im careful enough to not scrap but with this one if i hit something and broke it i would just be like screw it and drive on

did you use drop springs or coil-overs. my car isnt a race car and i wont be auto crossing anytime soon so i was thinking about just doing drop springs and a camber kit for it. id love to get a lip but i would want to get a pricey one and than id be real pissed if something happened.

You can use aftermarket ballasts with most retros as long as the connector is the same, in most cases it is. The bulb will have to be changed because it sounds like you have a pnp kit which is a rebased 9006 bulb. HID bulbs have a different base. Get the bulbs beforehand so you dont finish with no bulbs on hand.

I forgot you have an aftermarket ballast which already connects to your oem harness for power. A wire harness is usually needed when you need to wire up power to the ballast. Its better when you make it usually cuz you run a relay and fuse in case anything happens. You can also buy a premade harness from TRS. Again you probably dont need this since ur aftermarket ballast plugs into factory harness but maybe read other opinons on it. Didnt need to worry about that myself cuz i got a oem ballast and had to wire one up.

The labor is extra work cuz you have to cut out the projector from our brackets since the front half is molded together. With other housings they just separate with screws/bolts. So when you open up your housing you just take apart the factory pieces and figure out how you want to bolt it up.

There arent too many lips out there let alone ones that look good for gen 2 integras. Id recommend getting a 92-93 bumper for the best look.

Covert our cars are just missing something without a lip. Its almost as if they dont have a lower lip/jaw. When you put on a itr lip it'll look complete and never look back.

Mine is far from race car i use springs and struts, but i have some coilover sleeves waiting to go on so it'll be lower by the end of the week
