hahah! will im having a shop to do the swap for me, but I have not told them about having vtec in it. I just ask for a simple b20 swap.Think Zetec is a Ford thing, so I wouldn't do that swap... ha

i have a feeling my head gasket is going bad, when i drive it would blow a lot of white smoke in the back, though i just replace it a year ago. Just recently its getting harder to start each time like it would struggle during cranking, but once i get it to start it will start at 1x rpm then slow rise to normal 1.5x rpm (this is during cold start). for when its warm up, it would be at low1x rpm and rise up to 1x rpm then drops down to .5x rpm.If your just looking for a reliable car I would just do the regular B20 swap, theres not much difference between a stock B18 and a stock B20, and if you throw on a VTEC head your just setting yourself up for more problems if it isn't done correctly. at least with a b20 swap there won't me so much to worry about and the cost for the extra parts and stuff will be a factor too.
Whats wrong with your engine now?
P8R has larger valves than the PR4 head the other B20s have. Just a better flowing head.lol, its okay was just wondering what are P8R head, i research and some says its like gsr/si head. which got me a bit confused.
