My 96 RS. [Pics] [Slow build thread]

Still running strong, been about a month that I've had her. 207,xxx miles on the ODO. I also got a job after searching for 11 months so now I can finally start my build.

I'm getting a paint job soon and not sure which color, do I keep the green or go black or white?

List of internal mods: Focuz short ram intake. Custom fabbed exhaust (deep), Moon roof. Tein S. Type lowering springs. Advance auto parts rear blue struts. NGK spark plugs/wires.
List of external mods: JDM yellow fog lights. Yellow high beam tint. ITR front bumper lip. ITR rear spoiler (not put on yet).
Good: Strong engine, Everything works, No grinds.
Bad: Intake whistles around 2.5k-3.5k RPM, Interior is dirty no tears tho, hood has small rust spot's, small parking lot dent below the gas door, a few scratches, passenger side door handle is missing, converted moon roof leaks, No A/C.

5/23/12 Update Changed out spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor. It's not picture worthy, but just letting everyone know.

6/13/12 Update Painted mirrors, window things, and attached my spoiler.

Check your gaskets with the whistling problem. If you dont want to wash your car all the time because it looks dirty go with silver. It amazing. Make sure you change out that gas door before you get it painted. Also putting either a 4-1 or 4-2-1 header on it would increase your power.

It's not my gasket's it's my intake I guess their's a hole in it or a dent that is causing the whistle sound. There's way too many silver Integra's here already so I wanna be the one that stand's out I was also thinking a champagne color. My gas door is fine it's hit below it so the dent will need to be popped out then prepped and everything. And I plan on getting 4-2-1 header's when I start the actually build.

Champagne would be an excellent choice for it, as for the intake its an easy change out. You have a soild start is it A/t or 5 speed?

Yea, I should be getting a new intake when I get my first pay check and it's a 5 speed.

There is nothing wrong with your intake. All intakes with a metal tube whistle at certain rpm's. Mine even does it. If you want it to go away, get a plastic tube. K&n makes a plastic one.

Yep, I just learned that today. Also I really don't want silver. I see it too much.

Might be a bit late at this point, but I say to keep it green. The color goes great with the yellow high beams and fog lights.

Btw, where in FL are you? I might have to steal parts from you if you're close enough lol.

Yea, it look's good the way it is. And I'm in Fernandina Beach, a little ways outside of Jacksonville. I don't know if P. Park means Pecan Park but if so then we're very close.
