I'm having an issue though. 960 and 1080 resolution gives me really sluggish video. I'm just testing her out with a 4GB sd card, would a 32GB SanDisk Extreme sd card fix that problem?

I shot a 30 minute video today before work mounted inside my car, and it was excellent, But I believe it was 760 resolution or whatever it is.

Dylan, I tested out my GoPro all day yesterday at work and figured out how to change the video qualities, so I took it on it's first real run mounted at the top of my hood and went onto a mountain road, for maybe 30 minutes or so, but then when I uploaded it, it didn't record any sound, wtf happened?

Afterwards, I did a 20 second video to see if the sound worked, and it still did... Fucking annoying it didn't work because I had an awesome run.

Btw, that mount never budged at 100 mph ;)

This is obviously a lie, because you would need the entire distance from the bay to LA to reach 100 m/h... And that's with a tailwind. Niggas use them at the strip posted to the rear windows, so obviously it's safe to use on the exterior

why the fuck would you record in 960? 720 or 1080. What frame rate are you at and what computer and what memory card.
a lower frame rate will give you jumpy video
full screen on a shit computer will give you jumpy video
not having a class 10 sd card will give you jumpy video

I've never dealt with HS shit before, so this is new to me. But I'm planning on getting the 32GB class 10 one from SanDisk. But with the 4GB card, the video isn't too damn bad. MacBook Pro showed the sluggish videos crystal clear after I restarted it, had too much junk running at once I guess.

But the audio is fine I guess, but it didn't get the one last night with sound.

you dont need a 32gb card. Your battery will die before the card is full. 16 is way too much as well. I say a 8gb card is fine. Its only recording in a mpeg4 codec. Which is shit anyways and cant be edited - well it can be but it exports like shit.

But I don't plan to use it just for my car.. Like if I go dirtbiking or something, I'd always be using it, so then you get the bigger sd, then you get the extra battery. But I'd probably charge it with my laptop and car usually.. I'll figure something out ;)

I guess I'll be signing up for the raceday soon too.

you are still missing the point. It records in Mpeg4. You dont need a big card. the go pro in no shape or form shoots anywhere near uncompressed HD which is 1gb a minute.
