I was playing around the engine compartment yesterday and saw that my RS Teggy isn't A/C equipped :( duuuuuude... I live in El Paso, Texas if anyone here has been around these parts in the summer they should know what it means. is it possible to retrofit a higher trim levels' A/C system? and if so how much would that run me?

HAHA rs never came with ac. =P If i recall a discussion with my friend once you can probably get all the parts for a couple hundred at most.

yeah the damn owner's manual states: "Air Conditioning (optional)"............... While flipping through the pages I was dreading the (optional) part lmao. Oh well it should be a fun project to get into. I never really looked into what parts go into a car's AC does anyone know what parts I would need to buy?

not sure but my 90 gs does have it
GS is way different from the RS, I'm talking RS's here
whats the diff from the gs and the ls?
not sure about second gens, but for third gens, means power everything, sunroof, leather seats is the main difference. RS in all generations is race spec, which is the lightest most "barebones" versions of the cars released, which is why I really don't think my, if any came with A/C

optional means they were not standard meaning those cars did not come with it but you may have it and if you do.. it was added on. ^^

90 gs and ls? probably just a couple luxury options. nothing important

have had both ls and gs and the only thing the ls didnt have that the gs does was abs. and i always thought the ls was the model with the most options but my gs seems to have one more meaning the abs system.
