As far as mods, go with a clean jdm look.
Here are some basic mods to start off your build:
front lip
rims
lower with lowering springs/coilover
For performance, buy a simple air intake and a decent exhaust, so the car can breathe better.
you should really post pics so I can give you a more accurate mod advice.

Thanks for the warm welcomes peeps. I know what I'm going to do to it performance-wise and I now know how I want it to look but my thing now is what kind of rims to go with. I wanted to get some gold/bronze Drag's DR-9 but how original would that be? lol

Oh and sorry about the pics I post them I promise I've just been busy lately. and just earlier today one of the coolant system upper hoses bursted on me so it started overheating. It took me about an hour to fix, mainly because the trip to O'Reillys took a while and the cashier had an awesome EK so we started talking about Hondas lol
