Turbo blocks

I have always wanted to turbo my car since I heard my first turbo I have wanted a turbo car so I found one I liked and bought it now I'm just gathering information until I have the money to do it... I talked to a turbo shop in British Colombia Canada an they said they can do the entire set up for 12000 including standalone and tuning and all the piping custom bent and welded but I'm not sure if I should send the car with the factory b18a1 or a different block... Oh and this car will not be a dd just a weekend monster maybe track a few times or once a year looking for 5-600 hp

Everything... Engine completely built turbo piping standalone fuel pump fuel lines injectors tuning all that stuff oh and I asked for the engine to be bored 2mm

12k is alot. I would get an exact write up of what they will be doing and what parts they are using.

Actually for all parts and assembly for that kind of setup, 12k is the going rate. Trust me on that.

I could probably save ALOT by doing it myself aswell... I know I can... I just need all the parts in front of me

Also went back through my emails their quote was 7000-12000

I'm just so skeptical of taking it to a shop I think is good and end up them tuning it and a month later she blows up and there goes a huge chunk of change.... This shop looks like it mostly does supras and rotary engines...

^^^This. When I worked at WORLD Racing all the scions we turboed had a warranty. If anything turbo related failed we repaired no questions asked (some limitations obviously) as long as you ran our tune and didn't mess with the boost levels (if was fine to go lower). If we installed a built engine same concept (Toyota 2az and 2ar are bullet proof!). I'd say of that price make sure they stand behind there work.
