It's ABS plastic and already has a crack in it (I posted in the thread), you can get a brand new polyurethane one that won't crack as easy for just a little more off of eBay.

What do you mean by that? My transmission always slipped ffrom the day I got it, and I don't drive it like I stole it.

Hey guys I drive a 95 ls automatic and I am also kinda new here. I'll post a pic of my teg when my computer decides to work again. And just a quick question, does anyone try to drive their auto like a manual? I've heard it's really bad for it.

i drive mine like its stick all day i just don't downshift from 2nd to first while moving or i get a big thud

Downshifting the trans manually can damage it.

my trans slips so hard i can barely get up to 40 mph without shifting up but i would def agree downshifting the trans isn't a good thing

If you manually shift it for too long then it'll start to slip and eventually give

I downshift all the time, but I add some throttle to avoid just dumping the load on the transmission and any jerking. Basically rev matching

Really not good to do on an auto Trans. And Honda Trans are weak to begin with...
