LOW IDLE! Need Help!

I have a 93 integra, cold start is fine until i start driving. When i come to a stop it idles low, ( dont knw how low because my tach isnt wrking) then shuts off, and it wont start unless i have my foot on the gas. thats the only way it will start again. like i said i my Tach isnt wrkin i bought it like that 3 months ago. also i think the previous owner did somthing so the check engine light wont light up at all. so i plugged up to a scanner and got 2 codes, 12-3 and 15-1 the first one was something witt the EGR valve and the Second with the ignition failure switch. Now if i replace my Dizzy ( distributor) will that fix my problem??? plz help! thanks:)

Same thing happen to me, i had 2 problems, wouldnt start/take forever to start then shut off occasionally, and throttle problems. i replaced the ignition switch part and it starts up fine now. Just the throttle situation is the part im stuck on. So for ur start up problem id say replace the switch

Code 12-3 and 15-1.? It should be Just 12 and 15... for the code 15 test your coil and ignitor.

well i found out some crazy info, i bought the tegg about 3 months ago frm craigslist, and they guy said everythin was original and stock....... its a 1993 LS 5sp.... upon futher investigation i found out it has an engine of a 1991 GS and it was and auto. and the manifold that is on it doesnt belong on there and they routed all the vacuum lines wrong!! they had a vacuum line goin into a hose that had vacuum on it! its stll kinda idles low but atleast it doesnt shut off on me now... now to figure out how to solve that problem.....
