Best Motor for Forced Induction

Okay well i'm going to do a swap ob my B18B1 Integra my body is a GSR and I am going for show but I like to have that horsepower under the hood. I am going for a Type R replica look but I want to do a B18C5 what originally came with the Integra what would be my best bet on force induction without breaking it and dependable, I don't want to push alot of boost but enough for that little fun on the highway ;). Alot of people say LS VTEC Turbo but IDK I love the red top motor maybe you guys can help me out I am amateur but learning.

wtf is the red top motor?
a b18b is the "best motor for forced induction" since it has a lower compression next is the gsr.

not correct. that is a blanket statement at that. there are other factors other than compression ratio that factor into which is best besides compression ratio. with today's tuning technology that statement is outdated. the b18b is not "best" for boost because i will make more power per lb of boost with the same reliability granted the have the same quality tune on them. now considering the factory bottom end can be realistically limited to around 300whp daily driven, then the factory compression doesn't even factor into reliability. you're not cracking sleeves or melting pistons with a 10:1 cr on a b18c1. the "best" motor is the one that gets him to his desired power goal with desired power band at his desired budget.

a boosted b18b and boosted b18c1 on factory internals set to around 300whp with a proper tune will be almost equally reliable to each other. gsr will just need less boost to get there. now if you're shooting for crazy high power levels then lower compression is better unless you sleeve the block to keep a higher compression ratio without cracking sleeves and throw in some forged rods and pistons.

srry to bust ur bubble but the b20b is the best block for boost stock ne ways :)
best depends on his power goals and budget. b20b has the weakest sleeves of the engines mentioned and the same s***ty head as the b18b. it's only a good candidate for low boost applications. granted they do make nice tq.
