I found this listing for a DA for sale and its in my area. I love the post the car has had everything striped off of it the body is beat up paint gone not even hub caps. You know some times you can find people selling tegs and they dont know what they have.....then there is the other side when people think that just because they have one its worth its weight in gold.... and here is one of those cases.

popular cars, if someone is impatient and doesnt wanna wait for the right one to come along and has the cash i wouldnt be surprised if he got it. ive sold tegs kbb at 2500 for 5000

I got my DA9 for $1100 and thought I got a deal at first... But about $600 later and it still doesn't pass mutha f*ckin smog, I wish I could use it to run over the guy who sold it to me AND get my money back. Lol

I know.. Lol. I know of few janky dudes who will smog it for a hefty fee but I'd rather just fix the issues and have it done legit.

I didnt read that ad, but 2k for a 5 speed DA is about right in socal. Just needs paint and some tlc.

I could understand if it was a 4th gen civic. Here old rusted 4th gen b series, blown to bits civics are posted for 3k.

As it sits right now, it won't pass visual (PCV valve and fuel pressure regulator), and the timing is off.
Easy fix but I just haven't had the time.

I had already replaced the CAI with a stock air box, new gas cap, new timing belt, new distributor and exhaust system (the old one was rusted and breaking apart), new fuel pump and filter, new main relay, new spark plugs and spark plug wires.

Yep, just saw your from Cali too and they are pricks when it comes to cai that aren't carb legal. I've been wanting to get a cai that is car legal and not aem priced. So far I'm still stock

Just sold mine for $5500, 92 rs, shitty body, almost all bushings were shot, tranny grinds every gear, rust, broken drivers seat, no corner lights. Only good thing was the built motor and performance suspension. Find the right client, it will sell. Oh, and a chipped windshield.

Dude if it has a fresh rebuild and full system that is almost decent. Who cares what it looks like. Rebuild is like starting with 0 miles. Better than all the other ones that look the same, have 200k miles and are still tryna sell for that price lol. Guess it was a steal getting my db2 with 2 motors and all that for $600. Haha
