No, its just the front rad support. And you re weld the new one in. Actually if done right its "stronger" because you can weld all the seams were Honda doesnt. But that thin piece of metal wont really give much torsional rigidity in the first place, but "technically" its "stronger" with more welds.Don't you have to cut the frame to do it? That'll weaken it

Ah, I've always heard people say you cut it at the frame. And that sounds stupid.

You shouldnt have too. The frame comes up to the rad support, but only for a crash structure. Its not attached to the rad support for any real... support, haha.
