Selling the car because the bumper does not line up on one side is stupid. at least try and use the screw, if that does not work, use the hole and some string/wire to hold that part in place

Any of these methods are not ghetto. what would be ghetto would be drilling through the visible surface of the bumper and bolting it onto something. simply mending your car so that it looks nice and in a manner that people will not notice is something that everyone does
