no it wont run right

you have no supporting mods to even start considering a 70mm throttle body. I am putting down 166whp and am only using a 66mm throttle body. You need supporting mods to handle the extra air. Ie a dyno tune. I suggest keeping the stock throttle body and intake manifold unless you plan on doing a B18B build, and even then i suggest getting a Skunk2 or Edelbrok manifold

^truth! If you look at the very first page of my build thread, you will see my setup. I still wouldn't go to a 70mm throttle body. 65-68 is what I am planning on getting. A throttle body is probly one of the last things that should get upgraded in a build, imho...

Alright thanks guys. Ill probaly still get a manifold just no tb cause ill have the money and it might sit in its box for a bit but atleast i know i will have it when i need it. I plan on doin a build i just like getting my stuff in advance just want to do it right since it will be my 1st build.

I doubt you'll notice any gains at all. Some people actually lose some power when they put a Skunk2 IM on. Might want to buy some cams and then do the IM route. Get a good header or save up for an exhaust. Much better investment.

its because its not dyno tuned. for instance if you put a bliox or skunk2 intake manifold on a gsr you lose power until 5600 where the iab would have opened if it was there,.
