1990 5 speed help

Okay I have a 1990 Integra GS Da9. It has a 5 speed tranny with a B18 engine. I recently did a swap from a 1993 integra LS automatic. Put everything together right used my old dizzy ecu and injectors with the resistor, however she won't start.

My problem is the injectors aren't firing correctly. the spray a tiny bit once but don't pulse. I've come down to the idea that it's either the resistor or my ECU. If anyone is in the houston area and has a 5 speed DA9, and would let me test a PR4 ecu in my teg or mine in your teg to see if mine is bad, It'd help me a lot to figure out what to buy. I've tested everything else and fuel gets to the rail just doesn't spray.

Near as I can tell, the ECU for an automatic IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the ECU used in a manual tranny. I'd also swap out the distributor from the '93 to the '90. Use the one from the '90. Also check the fuel pump relay (main relay-pg1), and also test the injectors.

Check the label on the side of the ECU. What does it say? PR what?

You might wanna just get another ECU. Try eBay.

You could also "chip" it, or just get it "re-tuned". Click here for more info.

Hope this helps. :)

Not completely different.

Just get a manual ecu in your correct OBD and it should solve your issue I would assume

Well, ok, NOt completely different, but there is a circuit that controls when the auto tranny shifts, and there are a few sensors that are a little different from a manual, but you know what? Get a repair manual, it should help you figure out what that thing is really doing, then go from there.

Thanks guys. I figured as much. Currently I have the OBD1 distributor, but a guy from honda said that the obd1 dizzy should work just fine if i re pin it correctly. I'm getting an ecu by this weekend. I'v tested the injectors. They are good, just they don't pulse. I put a noid light on the injector plug and it doesn't pulse so it's just not getting correct power.
