Trick for Frozen Doors?

Every morning, it seems, I have to crawl through my hatch to get into my car. The door handles do not provide a great gripping service, and I'm afraid I'm going to damage them if I yank on them any harder that I have been. I'm hoping someone has a tick I can use, but my leg got stuck when the ice forced the hatch back down on it this morning, and I'm not flexible enough to keep swinging my leg over my passenger seat.

i think there is spray you can use on the weather stripping to keep it from freezing, it comes in an orance can.... i have some i get a pic of it in a few.
i always just use the door handle(not actually pulling on it, just hold it open) and pound around the edge of the door until it pops open lol

Vasoline or protroime jelly(spelling them wrong but I'm close haha) on door jams, than there's a deicier in a small bottle you put in key hole and squeeze the bottle. Doesn't work for me anymore bc I have db handles! Water does a ok job but not worth the effort.

I had to go in my truck once already this year.

I wish I was kidding when I say that has been me on way too many occasions. This morning was terrible. It rained last night and I had about a quarter inch thick layer of ice covering my entire car. I had to hit the door hard from the inside even to get it open.

Here's a good idea I use! Just hit your door with your shoulder lol. Most of the time because its freezing outside you'll have a big jacket on that will create cushion for you paint and whatever. But mostly I just run into the door seal, down lower by the door handle, with my shoulder and itll pop the seal loose. Sometimes you really gotta hit it hard. And You can try the passenger side door and once you make it in, hit the door from the inside.

I'd rather have to climb in the hatch than deal with a cover every morning. I live in an apartment complex with unassigned parking so I can't get my own garage-type cover either.
