I am so tired of the 'import scene' where I live. Its just a bunch of kids with numerous windshield banners on their slammed cars with Rotas and Diamond Racing wheels who bitch about having to replace lips and bumpers because they run over 4x4's on the highway. If your car isn't "dumped" it isnt considered nice around here. Heaven forbid my rims are under 8inches wide. The ones who aren't into the stance scene just ruin their cars by slapping on ebay turbos and running em to the ground. Why can't there be anyone from around here who appreciates a well built functional car? /rant

It annoys the sh*t out of me that my supervisor (who drives an SRT-4) hates all day on "Honda", but get's all butt hurt when I call his car a "Neon". If it looks like a Neon, and Neon parts fit directly onto it, it's a mutha f*ckin Neon!

The tuner trend around my town is cut springs and straight exhaust. There is a kid that live behind me that has lowered eg with a header and straight 3" pipe all the way back. He stopped by my house one day while I was washing my car to ask me if I wanted to "run them" I told him the only place he should be running is to the shop down the street to get his exhaust and camber looked at. He zoomed off with his sohc redlining every gear. Lol

I hate the sound of most Honda's these days. I don't know how kids got the idea in their heads that loud meant fast. I've been ranting about this for awhile, but it's true. People think if they put a 3" straight pipe exhaust on their stock Civic, it's magically going to be fast as lightning. My car isn't really too loud, but it even bothers me, and that's turbo'ed 2.5" exhaust, a flowmaster muffler and a resonator.

There are a ton of sohc, SRT-4's, Miata's, and old Preludes that want to run. Just caue I have the usual bolt ons doesnt mean I always want to run 24/7.

I have a dc sport 2.5" with a delete and resonator and I can't stand it. It was on the car when I bought it so Thats how it stayed. I've been looking for a silencer for mine but no luck. Not sure if the eBay ones would be worth my time.

But it is also how you drive. I plan on getting a Concept G exhaust which is gonna be loud. But if you short shift and don't bounce off the rev limiter you will get more respect IMO. But I agree, I hate those morons that give us a bad name.

When I bought the car it was straight pipe to the stock muffler in the back, it was loud and raspy as fuck. The new exhaust is not only quieter, but it has a deeper tone. I'm considering throwing a glasspack or something on my exhaust to quiet things down. I just want to be able to talk when i'm cruising on the freeway. The exhaust droning when cruising gets annoying. I even put sound deadening in my car and I still don't like the sound. Just getting old I suppose.

I just bought some sound deadening material hoping it would quiet mine down a little bit. I guess I should forget that idea?
