Info: 95 int RS b18b 150,000 miles

Situation: Which one of these two options would be better for the long run . Meaning the life expendency and also horse power.

Option 1: Engine swap with lower miles. idk a gsr or Jdm something?
Option 2: Built up my b18b. New valve springs, intake/exh valve, basically new valve train. Pistons and engine work

I guess which would be the best bang-for-my-buck long term?

you could but ive heard turbo ls/v isnt really all that reliable but some will say if its built right it can be. if you want turbo either swap or keep your engine an turbo it later down the road. im in the middle of boosting my ls.

hmm. ya my problem is i dont want my motor to blow, it seems strong but idk. 150,000 miles worries me. idk what to do, errr. maybe valve springs, intake.exhaust valves and low compression piustons? then turbo? advice plz

a motor built for turbo that isnt turbo is going to run like crap. you can always build the head an wait till you can turbo it an then youll have half of it done. id search google for threads on going turbo thats how i started a while back.

Not exactly. Depending on your comp ratio, it could be the same compression as he has now, and assuming he doesn't install the fuel injectors- he should be fine running forged internals.
