Hello DA pipz.
This will be my first post since i got my DA w/ 150K for $800.
I have a 93 GS w/ AUTO Tranny, it has a B18B1. Since i got it i have cleaned the TB, IACV, FITV(adjusted it as well), replaced Fuel Filter, Seafoamed it, Added MMO in the gas tank. I ahve fixed all the Engine light and reset the ECU. I still have the ABS light, something about rear solenoid.
I have not checked and adjusted the Valve and Timing yet. DIzzy, Wires and Plugs have not replaced yet as well.
Will a bad TPS cause this problem? Maybe not, but i cant think of anything else. Maybe a new Shift solenoid? Or my tranny is giving a sign that its about to go, a Torque converter Problem or some internal problem. Its not grinding or slipping BTW. Its kinda sluggish from 1st and second. Give a good power when reaches 3rd and 4th.
This will be my DD, I dont plan to go MANUAL. I just wanna stay with AUTO for less tickets. I use to have Manual on a civic and the result tickets, w/ manual i just wanna go zoom-zoom...yea'll know what i mean.. I plan to fix it for the looks. I want Good MPG so i Hp is not much concern. CAI for now, more suggestions for bit of bosst and better MPG.

My problem is it jerks and shifts hard from 2-3, takes up to 3300 rpm before it shifts, i have to back down my gas sometimes for it to shift smoother. 1-2,3-4 shifts smoothly. I disassembled the A and B shift solenoid and cleaned out the screens(some metal shavings were present). When i drained the Tranny fluid, it was burned and looks like it was neglected. Also I drained 4.5 quarts out of it(BAD?). I know it only suppose to take 3.2 quarts.
I was gonna put Castrol Dextron VI, but opt to Castrol DEX/MERC since its DEXTRON II compliant. Is it bad? I am in a budget, Im planning to go DEXTRON VI,AMSOIL or ATF-Z1 in the coming months
