my first da build

just did my oilpan. spend all weekend trying to get a gasket for my exhaust and know one had it . finally got one and got it on the road again .

ordered some visors will post pics soon

. just did my winter wax. prolly will do it twice this winter.

any ways getting a new rear bumper tomorrow. and i am now looking at painting the whole car and making it flat as glass this summer going to buy a new spray gun and mgcd filter and i picked the color already.lol i cant wait.

might repaint my oem wheels this week. black met.
going paint a couple of friends so hit me up if you would like it done.. we can work out a price or a deal.

anyways..was having a hard time finding a rear bumper was going to try a 91 rear on but got discouraged because i couldnt even get the screw out of the 91 and was in the mood looked on craigslist and bam some one had put it up one day only part out had a bunch of scrapes in it and i figure it was time to play around with some products at work... right now in the process of sanding it and cleaning up some areas. getting a new hatch as of just started to get cold up here and defroster lines are almost all scratched out so waiting on the hatch situation to go thru and then getting the color matcher to whip up some paint for me and im shoot it all ... need to update picturespickup tail lights 50/50 red and whites and a few interior pieces. works slow so im getting less hours in may be awhile before i post pic been busy.8)

Looks good, my hatch is leaking too. I think it's that sunroof drain hose behind the plastic on the drivers side in the hatch.

thats what i thought but i dono i held the hose to it and had someone look around the hatch and sure enough it came pouring from what looked like the seam of the tail light housing. not the tail light itself but the metal suround?

You'll probably need a new tail light gasket, it's cheap and it takes about 10 minutes for both of them tops.

Car is looking good dude.

hahaha im back i have yet to acomplish much... i got my tailights in and all 4 mud flaps rear and side visors... picked uo and im no waiting on paint and supplies and then deciding on whether to paint my wheels .. sorry it takes so long to post but ive been all over drove up to port angles or however youspell it that was a long drive.. anyways.. new bumper and tint soon.. here are pics. :D

Nice job. You still got your factory pin stripe on there though. I hate that thing. You going a step further with the paint? I wanted my entire car painted the same color just to take that out. lol

it isnt factory paint and the stirpe they put on is crap the whole car will be repainted soon tho..


anyways work in progress i guess..

as of my bday i went and ordered wheels and tires enkei edr9s in black and new tires ...
pics soon.. subs and amp soon.. trunk floor repaint and building new floor and sub box

tint soon to come

They were trying to mimic what was on there originally then, because it looks pretty close to the factory stripe. Couldn't stand that pin stripe. lol Sorry. Good job on the future prognosis though. Keep us updated. :thumbs up
