I was hoping beat box would post here lol. Puts my 4 12s to shame haha, but i had mine built so i can still use my back seat and rear panel in so it looks stock when im parked. Everbody keeps tellin me to run a wall but im not down..

hey beat box, do your doors sound good the way they are setup? I wanted to do mine like that but am worried it wouldnt sound as good if i had them at the rear of the panel like yours. I would be running 2 sets of diamond D6 comps.

they sound good, could prob sound better if i had the mids alittle more forward but it would take alot of work to get them to look good since that the door panel has that "pocket" looking piece

And damn Beat, those diamonds had your hatch jumping!!! my hatch barely budges, the glass flexes but the hatch dosnt move half as much as yours did, thats crazy lol.

Yeah they do pretty good work, i was going to do fiberglass but wasnt sure about dropping that much on it after ive seen it starting to crack. i had them tune mine down to 38hz but i think its more around 45 or so cuz it dosnt go as low as it used to. And the door panel question, thats why i want to put them further back bc that gad damn pocket looks like it would have to be glassed to look right. ohh btw were those D3s or the HEX model Diamonds?

It does its job. The box is extremely awkward tho. The port is on the other side of the box, facing the front. Going to rebuild a better box for it.. (eventually) And yes, it does very well for a 10"! Haha

dam, those are really nice set ups. I'm getting that alternator whine noise right now. Running 2 amps, 1 for the front components and 1 for 10"sub. Worked fine before I plugged in the amp for the sub. I think I have a ground loop.
So my question is, is it okay to have the grounds for both amp be at the same location. Can I grnd both amps at same place?

I checked w/ multimeter to make sure spot was good on both ground of the amps but still whine noise. I even had to turn down the gain or else the whine gets really loud on the comps. Shit is bothering the hell of me. Mines prtty much like klutch's except not as clean. I needa clean it up real quick lol. TIA

Man, I thought my old subs were too big. You guys are redefining loud. Like seriously, cops must hate you people.

Here's what I ran:
Sony xPlod deck-nothing special
0 gauge wire
Random cap
2 volfenhag 12" 1000w subs
Performance Teknique 2000w amp
Custom ported box

Then, I added
Sound deading paint
2 Rockford Fosgate 10" r1s
BAMF 2/800w amp
Rockford box

With the two 10s I smoked the battery, I immediately pulled the tens and eventually replaced the 12s with an 8" JL 8"

Yeah Ive had tickets "excessive amplification of sound" i was like says who? lol. I had a cop run out of a house and sprint to his car and spin around burning out like a walker texas ranger, to pull me over. Said he thought there was a quake lol, pussies. Those Wolfenwhatevs hit real nice, a friend of mine had 2 12s and they were pro.

Yeah I want to get a couple of the new ones they came out with, the volfenhag 15" 2400w. I love them because theyre so damn cheap!
