You made no sense towards the end. I'm going to use contexts clues and assume you mean you're unsure of the top end rpm performance. Don't go past 7k on a stock b18a1, ask me how I know. Your peak torque is around 5k. Higher revving will yield nothing but a blown engine. You should look into simple, basic bolt ons. A cold air intake/short ram intake, quality header, and a 2.25" exhaust will do you right.

No, your first mission should be to learn proper grammar. If we can't read what you're saying we can't help you.

ok well my bed some time i get a head of my self i got the cold air intake an im gettin a larger throttle body and intake. headers and exhaust i really didnt no how big to go tho i dont want a pissed off bee and i knon how those help performance. but i want to improve to performance of the motor wit out an turbo an nos i will get to that later. and ok i was really thinking about the manual trans. but hear from some that i can do wit the auto. but on the top end rpm i never run over 7k so i dont blow it but can the motor be made to handle the 7 an if so wat needs to be done to run it.

Shut up and go away? Trust me buddy, i'm the nicest person when it comes to that kind of thing. There are other members here that would be happy to run your ass off the board for spelling like a six year old.

B18a1's can't make any power. You could put thousands into it and not even hit 200hp. To get any kind of REAL power out of that motor, you need to turbocharge it. Your best bet is to swap in a B16 or boost the motor you have. You could gain maybe 15 horsepower from putting a cold air intake, full exhaust, and a header on.

So tip #1.
Download Firefox. It has a built in spell check, I know it's hard to proof read, but Firefox can really help you with that. :thumbs up

As prozon stated, you won't be making any significant gains from staying all motor with your current engine.

Kris, you've been much nicer than I would have been. So kudos.
OP, when you type out a well written, coherent, and somewhat grammatically correct post, you are much more likely to get a worthwhile response. You have to show a little effort in asking the question for people with knowledge and experience to feel you warrant taking the time to write a response to such a question. If you want to know what other people are doing to their cars read some build threads, or check out the mod lists on the Ride of the Year applications. When you ask about "franking" your motor, search LS/Vtec. Google is an amazing resource that you should use. The more you search on your own, the better the question you pose, the better the response you get. Trust me.

OP, as stated above, you aren't going to get much power out of a naturally aspirated B series non vtec. If you want power, it costs money. What is your budget? That is the first issue to address. If we don't know what you're looking to invest, we cant help you.

Ok well i can give u the spelling thing. What ever though, So i really looking to put 400 whp in a 1400lbs or car. If i wanted real muscle i would buy a car that comes that way. this is my everyday car i jus want to put a lil out of it. I dont really no what my budget is due to the fact that i have kids.I do already have a cold air intake and full exhaust but i no that it does not add real power.

An Integra is closer to 2500lbs. To get 400hp out of it here's a good start. Forged pistons and rods, and a turbo kit. Boost is the only way you will hit that number.
