ok this is just my 2 cents...but i have learned the hard way buying a car that has been already modified...get a stock one and do your own work b/c then you know what you did and how you did it

true im only 17 and dont got a WHOLE lot of money i wanna do a few things to it and just learn from there slowly... it seems to be a nice a engine im not really familiar with the block and head combo... said its putting out 200 at the wheels. thanks for the imput bro

yea the other thing is if you buy a car that is already done its not really "your car"...someone already did the work...find a clean stock car and learn stuff by doing it yourself

ill keep that in mind but it soesnt have a whole lot of mods that would "personalize" the car its got stock rims (would like to pick up a set of Ro_Ja forumlas) a carbon fiber lip (Wich i will pry take off and sell) and yellow high beams wich i ithnk look nice. so idk

well i think it looks sick, but to be honest i always buy stock cars unless i knew the person really well before i bought it from them, do what you want man if you like it i would take it to a mecanic and have every square inch checked out and i would also compression test all of the cylinders before id buy it.(common sense)

aight thanks man. the kid i talked to on the phone was pretty cool the only problem he said it has was that it grinds a bit going into 3rd only whens ur getting on it pretty good. and he said it wouldnt need a new tranny it was something small that i forgot what it was called..

its a third gear syncro that took a dump in your trans it probably got grinded and know doesnt do its job very well any more. youll have to pull the trans and put a new syncro in if you have to do one it usually means the others are on their way out also so id just get them all done. but be prepared it will probably cost around 500 bucks.

yeah thats what it was i dont think i would be doing this but if it was done at a shop how much you think it would cost??
