ok i was driving back from denver co and i was driving about 70-75. after about an hour of driving my car just shut off. no CEL, no odd sounds, no nothing. i pulled off put the car in park and tried staring it and it ran fine till i got home. now today i drove 4 blocks and it ran fine. the car sat for 3 hours and when i ran it again the car would randomly shut off. i would start it ,rev it up to keep it going, and it would shut off. i would do that 3 or 4 times and than it would run fine for a block than do the same stuff. i was thinking the fuel pump but if its not that i have no idea. any ideas on what my car is doing?thanks guys

Have you checked the timing? I just had a car in at work the other day that was similar like that because the timing belt jumped a tooth. I would look into that, otherwise it is worth checking the fuel pressure and seeing how the spark is too. Not that it sounds like it, but main fuel relays often cause cars to cut out, or the electrical part of the ignition switch. Just trying to throw out some ideas for you, hope that helps.

main relay??? since it dies like that

if u have to rev the car to keep it alive because it keeps on dropping the idle, u might wanna check the iacv...(idle air control valve...
