Wtf! 16mpg??

ok heres my story....i filled my tank last friday...i do a mix of highway and city driving....im bout to 220miles and its on empty....im only gettin 16-17mpg....wtf.....wat can i do to to increase my mpg??

You need a tune-up.

New air filter
New spark plugs & wires
New fuel filter
Check PSI in tires
Check timing
Fuel injector fluid that you put in the gas tank or have it professionally cleaned

how much does it usually run for a tune up?

I'd replace my air filter with a K&N and you can get that your local Advance Auto Parts. You can get the spark plugs and wires from www.sparkplugs.com. I'd go with NGK. Check your tires and PSI, then when you get gas get the fuel system / injector cleaner.

check the 02 sensor ... the one on the header .... i had the same prob... after i changed that it was a lot better !

new plugs, new wires, new fuel filters(2), and probably replacing the o2 sensor and that fuel injector cleaner should be seeing 24-26

I get 30 - 34 MPG.
