Wrecked LS

Hey guys. A few months ago I got in a wreck with my '92 LS (lady pulled out in front of me) Engine is perfect, I drove it after the accident and it still drove perfectly straight, and both fenders were untouched. The windshield has a pretty good sized spider crack, and obviously the radiator is crap. Here are some pics:

So what I'm going to ask first is should I keep her and fix it or should I sell/part it out? Which option would be best?? Like I said engine is perfect (minus radiator) transmission is awesome and the interior and exterior paint/finish was near flawless. Everything works, sunroof, windows, locks and it has an alarm.

This is my first time getting in an accident and dealing with this kind of situation. I was looking forward to upgrading her. :( Looking for some good advice. Thanks :D

If it was actually her fault, her insurance will pay for it- if she was uninsured she will pay for it out of pocket to YOUR insurance company. I say take it to a body shop and see what they say.

She does have insurance. There was an adjuster that looked at the car and surveyed the damage at a whopping $7k. So technically it's totaled, and I guess state law says that they can't fix it for more than what the cars fair market value (which isn't all that great considering what was done to this car) and it looks like the most I can get is around $3k for the car. I can keep it for $2,400 or let them take it for $2,800 PLUS other expenses they owe me. I'll have to get someone else from a damage shop to give me a quote.

And Jeff, looks like we got the same rims. Would you happen to know how much $ I could get for them? Also might be a stupid question but what brand are they? I bought the car with them, in fact I didn't even have the car for a month until this happened.

They are konigs I think konig "Z". They retail at 154/ea! Rediculous! If they are in perfect condition then I would try and get 400-500 w/o tires. So Yeah you can get some money back out of the car if you sell them :) sorry about the teg dude :(

Yep they are Konig Z-IN. Thanks for the info. Good thing I have 90% tread left on the tires mounted on those rims :D

So can anyone give me a ballpark figure on how much I should put this up for if I were to sell it?

You could try to get 600 out of em it sounds like, maybe more. Try craigslist and online car forums first

I was referring to the car, but I believe the rims are 15". Not sure if I'm going to sell the rims, depends what car I get next or if I fix this LS. I believe these rims will fit on some 90's Civics too.

Yeah it was a really nice fun car. Here is a pic I took the day I got it.

Trying to do what's best for me and trying to get as much money as possible out of this whole situation I was thrown into. I've been coming across some really sweet deals on CL that just taunt me because I don't have the money yet. I'm still looking at Integras, saw a bone stock Gs with 95k on the motor for dirt cheap. On the other hand I am looking at prices of hoods and bumpers and other parts I'd need at junk yards- cheaper than I thought.
