Would this turbo work?

I am planning on buying a turbo from a '91 Toyota Supra (car got totalled) and I was wondering if it would work with a b18a1 engine. Would it be to small or to big for my car? I tried searching and I couldnt find a consistant size (.57 trim). would it spool quickly or to slowly for my engine?

A ct26 is an ok turbo, only thing is I think the exhaust inlet is diffrent then what what we use so you might have to get somekind plate made to allow it to bolt on to a turbo manifold. JUst check out everything I think they run ceramic bearings or something and can fail pretty easy. I dont remember tho

they stop making power at 5500 rpms on our motors. So you would have to get a adapter plate made (as stated before) for the manifold and swap out turbines.

Your better off getting a t3/t4

I wouldn't bother with a turbo from a 300ZX. The Z32 ran a pair Garrett T22/TB02, which are quite small and would run off near choke line of the compressor map. Older 300ZX used a T25, which is also tiny and isn't worth messing with.

As for DSM turbos, the 95-99's also ran a T25 which is worth avoiding. The 90-94 Turbo DSM's ran a MHI 14B though, which does have some capability if you are on a tight budget and want mild power.

The CT26 is a better option than a T22 or T25, but the 14B would be the most ideal budget option of old junkyard turbos. It has much more potential than any T25 and such.
