Would it pass Tech Inspection?

My Jetta has a fairly large crack in the front windsheild.... Would the tech inspector let it pass?

I'm going to Famoso Raceway @ like 7:00pm, so it would be slightly darker out, maybe he won't notice? The last time when we went through tech, the guy walked around the DC4 and then gave us the permission to go ahead.

Cuz I don't wanna waste all sorts of gas and stuff to go there and fail because of the window. There's more important stuff I need to fix than the window at this point.

It depends where the crack is and what size. I doubt they'll pass you if it's your line of sight.

edit: I'm thinking road course. Famoso is just a dragstrip right so they may not care.

yea if it is a chip they wont care, but if it is a significant crack, they wont pass you

it's a pretty damn big crack(s), looks like a Giant spider web on the passenger side. It doesn't obstruct my view at all though.
