I have a 93 teg an it will not start. It wasnt getting fuel to the front so thought the relay had went bad again so put in a new one. Still no luck so pulled a plug an have a good spark. So I decided to check the codes but noticed that when I turn the switch on the cel does not go off like it should. It should come on for a few seconds then go off but it never does so cant check the codes. Now the fuel pump an the sending unit are not made together on this model an i do have power to the sending unit under the back seat. I have checked all the fuses an still cant get it to start like I said have spark an it will turn over all day long but will not start. I could use some help if anybody has had had this type of trouble an knows what needs fixed or replaced...

Check the main fuel relay under the dash. The CEL light cycle you speak of, finishes with the fuel line pressurized. The solder points in th relay wear out. Some folks have been known to rebuild them. 90-91 have a brown relay,92-93 have a black one. Either will work.
