Ok so I was driving home the other day and as I was goin over some railroad tracks in my 1991 Acura Integra I pressed the clutch in to idle it and roll over them slowly. I didnt notice until I let off the clutch to gas it that my car had died. I stopped and tried to start it back up but it wouldnt crank. I could here something spinning with a whining noise but it wasnt cranking over. I checked the oil and it was fine. I thought it might be the starter but when I tried to pop the clutch it didnt even try to start. If soebody could give me an idea as to what is wrong I would greatly appreciate cuz my baby is still sitting on the side of the road.

check the timing belt to see if it's not broken. remove the engine oil fill cap, have someone crank the engine while you look inside to see if the cam is moving
