I just picked up the 1990 integra, which you guys were cool enough to help me get running immediately, and there is just one other problem I found.
Guy had it parked a year, and were in Wisconsin so gets very cold.I go to use the wash, and you can hear the motor running but no fluid comes out.Fill line is right at full, and the two hose ends that it shoots from are clear.
So is it possible that he had a +32 degree wash fluid in there, and these -20 below nights lately froze it solid down at the bottom of the tank?I know the engine should thaw it out,but I havent had it out enough to cause this to work.
Any ideas? Can it be drained somewhere to see if its bottlenecked by ice?Or am I out of luck until spring?
It seems like such a minor problem, but had it out today, and car going by in other lane shoots slush all over me,and no juice to clean it off...so your all bent over looking for a tiny area that isnt effected by the wipers smearing dirt everywhere.
oh and the top of the fill tank is thawed, but I guess that would be the effect of temporarily going above freezing.
Thanks for any advice.
