Window up but not down

Hey guys - and gals - I just swapped out my passenger window motor to try to get the thing to work, but whenever i use the switch it works fine on the down swing, but up is a problem. Even with assistance, I'm unable to get the thing up. Is this a switch issue? And would that be driver or passenger side switch? Thanks!

I think it could be your drivers side window switch. If you unplug the wire for the motor and run a hot wire to it you should be able to get it to go up.
