window regulator problem

ok so i took the door panel off and i took the window regulator out and the switch i hooked it up to a power supply and the motor worked. and the switch works as well. does anyone know if and where there could be a loose wire or where else i could check.

what kind of power supply was it hooked up to? the loose wire could be anywhere..i guess im not really sure what the story is, have you checked fuses/relays and what not. if its hooked up to an external power supply you know that its good so that takes care of that..if you have any more info let us know
