Window jumps

The driver side window in my DA9 likes to jump. If you tug on it when it is rolled down, you can lift it up about 2 inches before it stops. Also, there are always 2 long streaks that can be seen in the center of the windows, where the felt pads are. Rolling down the window makes an awful grating sound. It's a manual window, so is there anything I can do to prevent the window from jumping?

take the panel off, then lube the tracks and regulator.

sounds like it needs to be adjusted or the bolts are loose that holds the bottom of the window in the regulator or from the streets could be the weather strip along the botton of the window on the door or both lol.

This is helpful, thank you. I'll remove the door paneling (for the third time) and see what I can do.

mine was doing it. I pulled off the door panel and lubed with WD40
