i would think that it would...i dont see why it wouldnt...the only thing that prolly wont fit is the piping from the TB to the up charge pipe cuz the gsr IM is lower than a ls/gs

why do they say it's an internally wastegated turbo but show a external gate along with the manifold? Are you sure it's a legit turbonetics turbo? There are a lot of fakes out there now.

x2 the intake manifold sits lower than the b1 or a1 the other question would be would the exhaust manifold bolt up or does the GSR have a different size?

All B series turbo kits are pretty much formatted all the same, and yes the exhaust manifold will bolt right up.

ok so i should go ahead and buy this kit. i mean i cant find this kit any cheaper than $3200 online and i can get it brand new on ebay for that much why not. so i will have to get different intercooler piping and i should be ok? also i know the turbonetics kits comes with pre set fuel management so its a true bolt on and go but will the fuel management be different for a b1 compared to a c1?

yes it will be completely different! Could you take a B18b1 ecu and expect it to run your b18c1 engine? IMO I wouldn't waste my time with this man. The "pre set" fuel management is just a basemap anyways. When it comes to forced induction the following rule applies. Fast, Reliable, Cheap, pick two.

Yes, the fuel management will obviously be slightly different between the two. However, for that price, that is a steal for that kit. My buddy is currently using a turbo kit on his GS that was originally on a b18c swapped hatch. You will obviously will have to tweak a few things, but generally speaking this is with most kits.

yer but you gotta think if its $3200 everywher else and $1000 on ebay. ask yourself why, could be a rip off fake?? it should fit. it might just be abit more squeezed in that on the gs

ok i just got off the phone with the turbonetics tech and he said the only difference between the 1501(GS) and the 1503 (GSR) is the fuel management and the i/c piping. its a true turbonetics kit the company is going out of business so there selling it dirt cheap. i finally found my turbo kit after a year of looking! already talked to my shop and its geting put in next weak and im planning to use the new e-manage ultimate.

You will still have to find some other way to tune it..IMO i wouldn't bother but i hope it's everything your hoping it to be.
