will crank but not start

i have a 93 gs with a b18a1 ii was driving down the highway and it popped 3-5 times and died it will not start anymore. checked fuel pump main relay it also wont start if you push it and drop it in neutral. it sounds like it wants to but just coughs and then backfires which could be because of the full exhaust system im not sure. please help completely lost at this point!!

check the timing belt. make sure cams and crank both line up at TDC.

so trying to remove my valve cover the far left bolt right by the dizzy just spins and wont come off. how should i go about that
