Will a gsr or Type R exhaust fit on an LS?

will a skunk 2 exhaust gsr or type r fit my ls cause on the one site i found it for 487 no shipping does anyone know anywhere else cause it says they only have typer gsr and 90-93 exhaust

the type R US spec will fit, but the GSR will not!

is it that the gsr's have longer headers and shorter cat or is it the other way around?? i cant remember, but they are right that gsr will not fit without adding some more pipping

it's different piping size, but da length fit, except da gsr

so should i get the type r one my friend has a evo 2 on his teg that came off a civic so idk give me a hand wont that be bad if the pipings different size i want it to blot right on

the evo2 is 2.36" i think but if you get his off his teg it might not line up right cause of the length you will be ok with getting one that fits the type r cause the length is the same... the one off the civic might be too long or too short and may be too far in under your bumper or too far out its up to you though

type r bolts right up to ls cause my apexi n1 was off a type r

The ITR exhaust will bolt up no prob. The piping size is the same (2.5") ... the difference between the two is the header piping size. A 99+ GSR will also bolt up no prob ... pre 99 the GSR had a longer header length.

so is da LS and ITR piping da same? cuz i thought it was 1/4" difference

On the aftermarket exhausts the piping is the same(99% of the time). The factory piping is 1/2" different.

the ls piping is 2" but has bottlenecks in it that go down to like 1 5/8th is certain areas. the type r piping is 2 1/4 and has 1 bad bottleneck going into the resinator that is 1 7/8th. that is the size of the pipings. now the bends and fitment of the pipings are the same.
