I just replaced my door panels and we have had a good day and a half of rain and this morning I go to get in my car and see water in my door panels and around my speakers. The only conclusion i can come to is that it's not 100 snug all around and maybe I need to take them off and put a nice 3mm tape strip all around to maybe give it a better seal? The water never got high nor were windows open or anything like that. Help me out guys??

i am not sure. when I got the speakers it came with this plastic mounting piece that clipped on. Other than that its just that. I forgot to mention that I do not have the speaker cover yet either. so when you look at my door panels you can see straight to the speakers

could it be the window seals? I just replaced the speakers that were in it beofre i got it and they were rusted to hell so i'm sure this isn't the first time water has been back there.

Water is supposed to be able to get into the window. You cant 100% seal it from getting into the door by dripping down the window. There are holes in the bottom of the door to allow the water to drip out.

Holes in the window? or holes in the bottom of the door/door panel for the water to escape?

Ive never seen any holes in the window itself before.

And i dont think he is having problems with the "WAITER"..... though it does seem he has a water drainage issue. :p

No, water isn't supposed to get in there. The holes in the door are a fail safe, and in most cars they actually have little rubber plugs in them.

There is a rubber piece that butts up against the glass to seal out the water. Also check the weather stripping that frames the glass and the door itself. Get the hose out.
