whistling noise. What can it be ??

Hey CI every time i start my car in the morning i get this very loud whistling noise honestly i dont know where its coming from, At first i tought it came from alternator but not to shure anymore. Its only like a 30sec-1min thing then it goes away or sometimes i even have to accelerate to make it go away. Any suggestion really appreciated and thanks in advance. By the way it is a 5spd.

thats what im guessing too.. check your belts..maybe post a video of it so we can better diagnose it..

I had whistling once

it was the radiator hose and i had a few holes in a few of them and car was over heating and no water/fluid and it was so hot it was whistling

Read op it goes away in 30 secs to a minute on a cold engine. No way it could overheat that quick unless there is no fluid at all or a blown hg and in that case the sound is the least of his problems.

Check belts could be to loose or tight. Have you held your ear close to running engine to try to isolate it?
