Which vtec head?

okay on my b18b should i just get a full GSR swap? or just buy a vtec heaD? which head would be d best? friends telling me the b16 head would be coo.. so if i frankenstein my LS motor, what other new parts would I need to buy? 8)

I would go with a B16 or B18C5(type R) head. Mostly because of the butterfly flap crap. I personally wouldnt want to bother with it. It woudl be cheaper to just get the head and do the conversion anyhow if you know where to look.

The butterflies of the GSR are in the intake manifold. Doesn't have much to do with the head. Just get a great excuse to get an aftermarket manifold and some cams to go with it. It's not a bad head, the GSR head has a smaller combustion chamber and quench areas that the B16 and ITR head don't.
