if the motor has good power then go with the longer ratio's which is the spec-R if motor has less power then shorter more potent gears are needed?

Usuall for an all motor set up the shorter gears would be better so the 4.7
the 4.4 is a littler longer better for high boost apps.

Id go for the type r (all motor). I will trade mine for it anyday.
