Where's the transmission vin #

I am trying to locate the vin # on my transmission . Any one know where it is? Its on a 1992 Acura Integra GSR w/ 1.7

not sure on the teg. on my old eh9 it was on a plate on the underside of the trans.

obd1 transmissions dont have the vin. its usually located on the front of the tranny next to the block stamp but on the tranny

good call. didnt don on me to think about the fact that i had a trans from a 98 ex in my eh9

i believe the obd1 transmissions just had a sticker with a serial number and a bar code. newer transmissions will have holes on the front for rivits if the vin has been taken off.

I found the sticker but I dont know how to translate it to see if it matches vin

if it maches the vin number then youre good. you may have to google transmission serial numbers or something or theres a stamp on the transmission that says what kind it is like ys1 or something
