i wouldn't go to Rankin Rd.
try westheimer in the galleria area. i go down there sometimes on sat. nights. they have a car show out there on wednesdays also. we used to lots of racing out westheimer and hwy 6. there is also usually plenty of car shows and racing going on, on northside by FM 1960. either way you go there should be peeps on Sat. Car shows on FM1960 east by hwy 59 and west out by hwy 290. and westheimer @ beltway 8 area
