Where to start diagnosing my power mirrors

Recently bought a 94 GSR and the power mirrors are dead, everything else is working so wanted to know where and how to start looking for the issue, also can I manually position the mirrors to tide me over until I get it sorted out? Thanks!

Real Good!
start with fuses
then take them off and check to see if they are even getting power with a test light

thats where i would start, im pretty sure it IS OK to just move the mirror around even tho they arent working

Good to know, I tried moving with my hand and felt significant resistance, so I thought I'd better leave it alone... I'll give it a little extra push next time I go out to the car. I checked the fuses, they're all fine. I'm guessing, since both mirrors are dead, that they aren't getting power, so I guess the next step is to see if the switch is getting power, or does anyone know where to look for the power lead under the dash that goes to the switch?? THANKS!

Thanks, I'll try to trace that wire and see if I can figure out where my problem is... I tried moving the mirrors by hand again and I can't get them to move, I put a decent amount of force into it and am afraid to push any harder. I don't want to break anything, especially if they will work fine once I get power to them.

So here's my problem, lol:

Not sure if I just want to splice the connectors or get/make an adapter... Suggestions anyone? Thanks!

Okay, so I'm really glad I didn't splice the wires together.

I hooked up an external power source to the mirrors to aim them while I pondered how to fix it permanently and discovered they won't adjust to an acceptable position anyway. They must be some cheap ebay junk.

So my next, and probably last question for this thread is, where's the cheapest place to get mirrors that will actually work and have the right connectors?
