The wires are up high, not like directly behind the pedal. You need to set up a relay that fools the car into thinking the clutch is pushed down. There's a little pin switch up there with 1 or 2 wires coming out of it, can't remember exactly. It's been 6 years since I was in there doing my remote starter.
You want to temporarily interrupt the wire that senses when the switch is pushed in (clutch up) and when it's out (clutch down), with the relay. And while it's interrupted, send the signal the car requires to think the clutch is down, with the relay. The whole thing can be done with a single relay. Can't remember if it's a positive or a negative signal, like I said, its been 6 years. But it's not hard to test what the right signal is.
