so i had a blow out tonight on the interstate sucked ass. but i also didn't know i didn't have a tire tool in my car so i had to sit and wait which sucked even more. so now im trying to decide on a direction to go. should i sell my 17s and ride my fat fives for now until i can find me some white Honda ITR rims or get new tires for my 17s? another thing to i noticed a few peoples fat fives look really good compared to mine whats the secret to get them looking good? i think i seen someone say paint stripper but i don't remember what thread it was on.thanx in advance!

thats right.
which do u like better? i would say just buy a new tire, one tire by itself isnt expensive at all, unless u blew all 4 tires id say just get a new tire

Keep It Clean
if you like the current wheels just get a new replacement tire. if it was my car, and I had a choice between 17" wheels and fat fives, i would've sold the 17" wheels long ago and rock the fives and invest the money elsewhere. that's just me now, 17" look huge on a DC. 16" is the biggest without too looking big.

From OP's signature the 17's look nice on the car. And as far as the fat 5's go... use Aircraft Paint Stripper in the can (can be found at most auto part stores). Spray it on and leave it for about 20 minutes and then wipe it off. Should help out and the rest would need to be lightly sanded with 1000 to 2000 grit sandpaper and then use Mothers Polish kit to get the polished look... that's what I've been doing to all OEM wheels I get my hands on...

I'm all for the smaller wheel idea. Sell those 17"s, rock those fat fives, and buy a nice set of 16"s or the ITR's (replicas, I'm assuming you don't have the 5 bolt lug) like you had mentioned.
