What's this noise I'm hearing when braking?

every time i step on the brakes i hear this clicking noise and was wondering what it could be ?...could it be my driveshaft that i recently installed if not can someone help me figure out what the noise is from.

i have the same problem right now, i always wondered... if i need to change my rear caliper or is my axle beginning to go out. im suppose to get it checked soon.

or it might be your wheel bearing. or the squealer on your breaks.

my pedals don't it's more of a clicking noise then a squealing noise but the thing is i only hear it when i'm stepping on the brakes... :what:

haha DUDE!... i have the same problem... i jus noticed it recently.. i kinda thought it was the brake pads... iono... i wanna know how to fix this problem too

it happened to me b4 and my driver side rear caliper and now its happening again but on my passenger rear caliper...so im gonna change dat one too and plus i have brand new brembo rotors dat im gonna put in also to make sure my brakes r all fine lol

What nobody thought to ask was where the noise is coming from??? Is it coming from the inside? Like, do you have an automatic tranny, and if so, do ya think it may be the saftey switch that engages when ya hit the brakes? (located in the base of the shifter...) That clicks when ya hit the brakes. It's supposed to keep your car in Park until you press the brakes, then you can shift out.
If it's a 5 spd, and the noise is coming from the outside, check your caliper pins and bolts... Make sure they are tight. A little play could cause a "clicking" noise, and wear those rotors and pads pretty bad.
