Do they still sell those? I thought they were taking them off the market, I am happy with my silverstars in my civic.

Off the market, why?

The best HID kit (plug and play) in my opinion would be any Phillips kit. A little pricey, but top quality.

eBayland baby, that were I got mines, sealed the ballast with silicone, everything else is good, got a 6000k kit for 200 shipped, so far so good, very bright color is very natural like the high end cars, cant tell the diference, had my neighbor bimmer 760 right by me and the color output was the same

yeah you can get an ebay kit any K for about 200 but ill agree with g3 i think phillips is the best and it depends what do you want them for visibility or show, im lookin at getting the 8000K in mine give me a little blue look to them.

Once you go past 6000k temperature, you loose visibility. I'd stay at 4300k (OEM Spec) to 6000k. No more.

Philips doesnt make rebased kits for non HID cars, only d2r and d2s, which are the bulbs that HID equipped cars come from the factory, HID kits are banned from the US, myself I have a "illegal" rebased hid kit for our 9006 low beam, but im in the prosses of retrofiting an extra pair of headlights I have with some BMW e46 bi xenon projectors to make them true HID's just like the real Bimmers, these ones I got just dont cut it, they are bright and blue but have lots of glare and just dont look like the real thing, no cut off line, no color spectrum but thats gonna change :D

I have purchased 2 McCullough kits and been VERY happy with them. No problems. I let one set go with my DC5 then I purchased another for my WRX. I still have that set. I'm going to put it in my wifes car this weekend since my DC2 has 9006 instead of H1's.
